Inflation will be the big headliner, as March’s Consumer Price Index will be reported on Wednesday. Look for the Producer Price Index on Thursday, which will give us news on wholesale inflation. The latest data on optimism among small businesses will be reported by the NFIB on Tuesday. Jobless Claims will be released as usual on Thursday, while Friday brings news on March’s Retail Sales. Also of note, the minutes from the Fed’s latest meeting will be released on Wednesday and these always have the potential to be market moving. Investors will also be closely watching Wednesday’s 10-year Note and Thursday’s 30-year Bond auctions for the level of demand.
